Good morning NCRG members, friends and fans! We had a great meeting this morning with good attendance numbers. Thank you to all who joined us, and thank you to Stephanie for supplying refreshments and coffee.
Our meeting this morning featured a presentation from Chuck Heidorn of Surroundings Gallery. Chuck told us a lot about the picture framing business, including a few anecdotes from satisfied customers. The Heidorns are members of the PPFA (Professional Picture Framers Association) and have customers who drive all the way to Gardner from Boston, rather than pay almost twice as much on Newbury Street. Chuck also explained some of the process for digitally repairing old photographs that have damage, adding that many people don’t realize this is an option. Call Surroundings Gallery today with any questions!
We also heard from Bruce Cloutier of Bruce’s Burner Service, who showed us a piece of a baseboard heater. He recounted an anecdote from a customer who had replaced her furnace expecting it to result in more efficient oil usage. Bruce always passes all rebates onto his customers, and this customer used hers to purchase plush rugs… which blocked the airflow to her baseboard heaters! Make sure you are not making the same mistake in your home. Bruce has a lifetime of experience and will help you out. Call him today with questions about the heating system in your home.
All interested small business owners in the area are encouraged to contact us to find out more about our group! We are looking forward to meeting you.
